Ms. Shaira Lallani

Meet Shaira Lallani, certified Montessori Primary teacher for over 35 yrs.( age 3 to 6 yrs ).
I have a Bachelors of Arts in both Education and Psychology.

I ‘ ve also taught at St. Catherines’s as a lead Teacher in Houston, Texas prior to joining Casa Dei Bambini Montessori School at Riverstone campus.

My goal as a Montessori educator is to provide each child with an opportunity to grow into adults who are independent, responsible and compassionate innovators.

Montessori classrooms are designed to offer lessons, activities and tools that match the developmental needs and interests of each individual child.

The objective is approached in two ways :

First by allowing each child to experience the excitement of learning by his own choice rather than by being forced.

Secondly, by helping him to perfect all his natural tools for learning, so that his ability will be at maximum in any future learning situation.

From a very young age my dream was to be a teacher.

I never stop learning, growing, and trying new strategies. My teaching passion and commitment has grown with every year, and I hope to pursue my career in teaching at Petite Maison Montessori School.

Ms. Gladis Martin

Subjects Taught:  ESL, Language, Mathematics, Social Studies, Geography, Science, Sensorial, Practical Life, child Development.

Positions: Primary Lead Teacher

Supportive, passionate, loving, nurturing, inspiring and delightful, are just a few adjectives used when parents describe Ms. Gladis. Gladis was born in Guatemala. She knew she wanted to teach since she was a young girl. Gladis says, “my teaching philosophy is: love what you do. There is so much to love about the rewards one gets when you touch the life of a child.” Seasoned, compassionate and experienced three to six-year-old AMS Montessori educator with over twenty-five years leading and changing children’s lives through innovative and proven Montessori curriculum teaching. She loves hiking, mountains, yoga and biking. Both of her children attended Montessori school until middle school.

Ms. Sana Aamer : Lead Teacher

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and I completed my AMS certification in Early Childhood at West Side Montessori School Teachers Education Program, New York. During my internship I was working as an Assistant Teacher at Our World Montessori, and I was offered the Lead Teacher position upon completion of my credentials. Afterwards, I moved to South California, where I started working as a Lead Teacher at Irvine Montessori School. Now, as I have recently moved to Houston, I am very excited and looking forward to being a part of the Petite Maison Community.

I believe that the most important element in being a good educator is to understand that every child is unique and different. As a Montessori teacher, my role is to guide the child and to encourage their motivation towards learning. I regard teaching as a great opportunity for continual learning and growth. I would like to promote a love of learning and curiosity in my students, as I share my own passion for discovery and learning new things with them.

I began the wonderful Montessori journey—an experience that has transformed my perspective on education and child development — which is why I decided to become a certified Montessori Teacher.

Working with children is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Every day, I learn from their curiosity, creativity, and unique way of exploring the world. I am passionate about guiding and supporting them with respect, patience, and dedication, while fostering a safe environment where they can grow with confidence and independence.

I am grateful to be part of this educational community and to have the opportunity to support your children during this important stage of their lives. I look forward to building a strong partnership with each family as we work together to nurture.

Ms. Priya

I am Priya. I have bachelor’s degree in arts. I live in Sugarland with my husband and two kids. My hobbies are gardening, reading books on Psychology, Neuroscience, and spirituality. My motto is ” We are what we eat” and ” We are what we think”.

Why I like being a Montessori teacher:

Every child learns in different ways and Montessori education accommodates all learning styles. Students are free to learn at their own pace. This method teaches how to be more responsible. Older children enjoy stature as mentors; young children feel supported and gain confidence about the challenges ahead. So, the whole environment becomes safer and more responsible.

My goal is to spread abundant kindness & happiness into the little children’s mind. I would like to bring out their best ability and become individual successful leaders.

Ms. Shaista Rehmani

My name is Sahista Rahmani. I am a mother of three children. I have over two decades of experience, I have dedicated my career to early childhood development and education, working with 3–6-year-old children in Pakistan, Africa and the United States. I have a bachelor’s degree in Arts of Sociology.

During the crucial developmental period of 3-6 years old, my aim is to nurture children with utmost respect and provide them with the freedom to make choices. By doing so, I aspire to empower them to become future peacemakers within their community. I am passionate about nurturing young minds, it has been a fulfilling journey of learning and growth.

My hobbies are:

1. Interacting with people, singing, and dancing are among my cherished hobbies, infusing my life with joy and creativity.
2. I find immense joy in engaging with children through activities witnessing their growth and intelligence blossom.
3. My aspiration is to become a successful Montessori Teacher, guiding young minds with care and nurturing their curiosity for learning.
4. I love connecting with parents and sharing the wonderful experiences and achievements of their children, fostering a strong partnership in their educational journey.

Ms. Consuelo Holtz

Ms. Consuelo started her career as a Montessori Teacher and then Director of Montessori school in Chihuahua, Mexico. She continued with her career when she moved to Sugar Land, TX in 1990, working in the areas as an Administrative Director, Montessori Educational Director, Elementary and Primary Teacher as well as a Mentor for over 35 years.

Ms. Consuelo Loya Holtz graduated in Mexico with an Accountant Degree. She then traveled to Milan, Italy and took the Montessori training obtaining her first “Montessori Teacher Certificate” under the Roman Administration.

At her return to Mexico and while working in a Montessori school, she continued with her studies towards her Montessori Elementary I and II with the Association Montessori International.

Ms. Consuelo attended Texas Brazos port College obtaining an Early Childhood Certificate and later on a Director’s Certification under the State of Texas Regulations.

On the year 2014 through 2015, Ms. Consuelo took a refresher Montessori course in Houston, TX obtaining the American Techer Credential in Early Childhood with the American Montessori Society.

Ms. Consuelo’s enthusiastic personality, knowledge and observation skills helps maintain and successfully carry out an excellent school and classroom management.

Ms. Consuelo strongly believes and is devoted to Dr. Maria Montessori’s observation on the Development of the Young Child. “Showing that human development necessarily follows an orderly sequence as the generic pattern unfolds in maturation. In particular, orientation, exploration of the environment and manipulation coordinated with sensory activity itself lay the foundations upon which the child constructs himself, mind and body, as an increasingly efficient, free and autonomous being.

Ms. Fatiha Aboumzrag

My name is Fatiha. I hold a bachelor’s degree in English Studies and a certification in Early Childhood Education from my home country. I am currently pursuing the AMS Early Childhood Credential through the Houston Montessori Center, with anticipated completion in 2027.

Guided by the Montessori motto “Help me do it myself,” I strive to create prepared environments that meet each child where they are, support intrinsic motivation, and honor each individual’s pace. Through careful observation, I select purposeful Montessori materials and activities aligned with a child’s interests and developmental stage, encouraging concentration, independence, and self-confidence. I integrate guided practice, practical life exercises, and grace-and-courtesy lessons to develop social skills, self-regulation, and a lasting love of learning.

I am excited to be part of the Petite Maison Montessori family this year, dedicated to fostering independence, creativity, and respect in every child under my care. Outside the classroom, I value time with my small family and enjoy reading, gardening, and baking.
